Welcome, this is an Online Application System (OAS) for The Artisanal Mining Institute (AMI). AMI is a private entity registered with the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET). It was established with the aim of providing short courses and long course programs in the artisanal and small scale mining (ASM) sector in Tanzania and across East Africa overall. Currently the Institute offers the following courses: -

1. Mineral Processing Engineering, for both NVA and NTA level.
2. Mineral Engineering, for both NVA and NTA level.
3. Mineral Exploration, for NTA Level and
4. Mining Geology, for NTA Level.

If you are applying for NVA level courses, make sure you have the following items before you start filling the online application form: -

1. Standard (Grade) 7 examination number (The Prim Number).
2. National Identification Number (NIDA number).
3. Original pay in slip or a screenshot showing transaction of the non-refundable application fee, TZS 10,000 (should be a PDF file).

If you are applying for NTA level courses, make sure you have the following items before you start filling the online application form: -

1. Copy of Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations or Living Certificate (should be a PDF file).
2. National Identification Number (NIDA number).
3. (If any), copies of other equivalent qualifications (should be a PDF file).
4. Original pay in slip or a screenshot showing transaction of the non-refundable application fee, TZS 10,000 (should be a PDF file).
